It just means that some clubs deal with it better than their direct competitors.

United have always had one of the deepest squads in Europe, which in return is a result of being the best run football club in the world for nearly two decades. Barcelona don't play in England.

Ok so United.

CL teams suffer the most but in the end win the title or finish in the top four. It doesn't really matter at the end of the day.
