It's all a bit of a headache, and will be til it's done. If barca knock Chelsea out, then two wins from our final three should see us finish ahead of spurs, in the top four with a good hance of being third

Funny that 3 out of the 4 teams battling it out for 3rd/4th spot are the biggest bottlers in Premiership history. Us, Spurs and Newcaslte.

Spurs have already kept their tradition, we are doing our best impression as well but its Newcastle who have surprised me and quite frankly, worrying me a bit.

We need Wigan to beat them next week, not Chelsea. Chelsea will have one eye on the FA Cup 3 days later.

Also, we need Citeh to still be in the title race by the time they travel to St James Park as well.

Should be a very interesting end to the season, and see out of the 'bottlers' who has the most bottle!

I'm sceptic. Have you seen their record against the top half of the table away from home lately? Aside from big wins against United and Spurs early in the season they've been pretty underwhelming. Since the end of October it looks like this:

Liverpool 1 - 1 Man City
Chelsea 2 - 1 Man City
Sunderland 1 - 0 Man City
Everton 1 - 0 Man City
Swansea 1 - 0 Man City
Stoke City 1 - 1 Man City
Arsenal 1 - 0 Man City

They won't go to Newcastle and pull up any trees.

Today will have a big say in relation to City. Everton are perfectly capable of churning out a draw or surprise victory and then it's game on as far as the title is concerned. City will know what they have to do and they'll roll Newcastle if that is the case.

Yeah, Tevez is a big concern. Looks like the only one apart from Balotelli who can win games for them at the moment when the chips are down.

Have you seen Newcastle's record against the top 6 this season? 1 win in 8. When the top teams play each other quality tells, and Newcastle havn't got enough to play on the front foot against good teams. They retreat back, concede possession and play on the break. If City and Chelsea play reasonably well they wont lose against them.

City have the toughest defence in the league - can't see them allowing Newcastle run riot.
Chelsea do nothing much but defend these days so again I cannot see Newcastle having it all their way in Stamford Bridge.
I'm not awestruck by their current run of form.
Prior to our defeat against QPR we were the form team, things can change quickly.
I figure Newcastle will drop four points, maybe six.

I'm with Tim/Y on Newcastle.

Just hope they get that 4th spot.

That was before they bought Cissé though. And that win was against United. Only game United haven't scored in this season unless I'm mistaken. Newcastle didn't play on the break in that one. Cabaye and Tiote bossed the midfield like they've done against most teams.

They also lost 5-0 to Spurs with Cisse in the team.

Record against top 6 is won 1, drawn 3, lost 4, with a GD of -8. The one win against Utd came over the buyt January period when Utd were in their worst form of the season and had just lost at home to Blackburn.

Anyway, we'll see wont we. Dont think they're anywhere near as good as you seem to think.

Best case scenario is them losing against Citeh but winning the other games to finish 4th. Chelsea will pip title challenging Spurs to 5th.

It's strange. I think we've pretty much gone the whole season without giving any sublime attacking performances. This is the least naturally talent attack we've had under wenger. Surely he'll address that

We're fucked.

I think we'll struggle over the finish line, van Persie has become mortal again while Walcott, Song and Arteta are either jaded or injured and aside from Rosicky we don't have much firepower left. I don't think we'll be freely scoring and so unless we keep a few clean sheets, I doubt we'll be getting maximum points.
