Not that I'm belittling the win- on the contrary- I revelled in Chelsea's defeat, but their defending was woeful that day.
They are in the process of changing their system to try to ape Barcelona like we did, and I hope they fail as miserably as we did.
I'm delighted we took advantage of their defensive chaos.

Wenger has almost always subbed on the hour. 80th minute is only if we're coasting.

That's not entirely true - he went through a long period of subbing at 70 in just the last couple of seasons, and it always felt frustratingly late.

Well if Wenger looks at his watch around the hour mark, tells AA to get warmed up, Pat passes the note to the 4th official and by the time theres a break in play it could well be 70 minutes before he gets on, all very leisurely.

Not even getting much time off the bench. I think if an offer ones in this January he'll be allowed to leave. It may be what prompts a signing

If he wants to go we shouldn't stop him but I think we'd be better off hanging onto Shava until summer. Gerv is going to head to the African Nations and we need more options anyway. Shava is now in his rightful squad position and its nice to have that level of quality as an option.

Bar one goal against Swansea and a cameo against Bolton in the CC he's fluffed every chance to prove he can still be useful.
For the first time ever today I looked at him and thought I want him gone.
His attitude is out of line with every other player.
He just doesn't want it enough anymore.

It was quite telling, wasn´t it? Despite everyone bar Djourou having played two games in 7 days prior to today Arshavin still stood out as being the lazy one and cheating defensively. RVP, Ramsey, Arteta, Song - they were all covering for him at various points today.

Selling Arshavin now would be extremely detrimental to the team. With Gervinho and Chamakh going to the Africa Cup of Nations, we need as many forwards available as possible.

He obviously needs games to find some form, and he won´t get them here bar an injury crisis. Sold in January and properly replaced. Let Oxpot and Miyaichi provide extra depth on the wings.

Normally I'd agree Ron but given his current standard and contributions so far this season I'm not sure he's going to be of much use.

We should sign Thierry on loan for January if we can.

Of what use is a forward who's lacking on all fronts?
I'm sure if Wenger sold Arsh in January, he'll have lined up a replacement by then.
You can't keep an underperforming player just for the sake of having anyone available if others aren't.
