He did great in terms of end product. The problem with Arshavin is that he, like Wenger said, always gambles with each pass, each run, each shot. He loses the ball so much and his workrate is poor. You can't have a player like that at the heart of our passing game, trying to link midfielders with forwards. We're not set up to cover for that kind of recklessness. We might put two goals past Bolton because of it. Other times we'll get severely punished on the counter and concede a few goals. He still managed to create a couple of brilliant attacks for Bolton last night. One in particular where Eagles had a free shot at Fabianski looked like it would end up in the net.
