Pedro's a smart player with decent technique - he's more than decent, but Barca do make him look a lot better than he would elsewhere.

You are severely underrating Arshavin. His pass selection is poor and he is slowing down but both of his feet are miles better than Pedro.

Just can't see it, would be great though. Still gutted we're not in for Hazard, and obviously we won't be competing for him next summer, so he aint ever coming, but getting Mata would make that a little less disappointing.

This rumour makes my heart beat faster. Mata would potentially be a good replacement for Nasri.

I've seen him play for Valencia and Spain, I've looked up videos of him on youtube and I can't understand where the hype comes from. Good technique, can pass the ball well, moves around quickly, gets into decent positions to score. Nothing about him that screams 'World Class!' for me. Coupled with the fact that he is as tall as Arshavin and has the physique of a 12-year-old girl is making me nervous about us replacing Nasri with him.

He's overhyped but is a good player. I would say that your description is pretty much spot on.

He certainly isn't world class, not yet. He's also a downgrade on Nasri.

But the point is he's pretty much the best available and realistically attainable player in that position.

Pretty much sums him up. If he's intelligent, he can overcome his size disadvantage like Silva. I'm all for it if we can get him and hold onto Nasri.
