Thought it's belittling to Nasri's efforts, ultimately he does have part of an outstanding season under his belt and at this point ticking a box in regards to finances is more important than playing for the shirt, ultimately that will be reflected on the pitch. Sometimes you just have to cut your losses.
It's like the girl that you lucked out on snagging, but know she'll leave you eventually unless you win the lottery. You can either go broke trying to win the lottery or you can fuck her off and go for someone else that's more into you.
