I didn't see anyone predicting at the start of the summer that we'd get rid of Nasri, Fabregas and Clichy without bringing in any replacements. I didn't comment on our overall transfer policy. I said it begs belief how badly we've handled this window, and it does. So far it's been the worst summer for fuck knows how long.
Well in the early summer even I couldn't believe that Nasri would go, but once things became apparent I knew both he and Fabregas would be gone and voted that way in Burnsy's thread.
It beggars belief that anyone who has watched Wengers modus operandi over the last half decade would think that he would spend 30+M (because thats what it'd cost) on a proven top class player, and not try to get some kid on the cheap, he does it every fucking time whats so different about now?

French journo Mickäel Martin @mikamartinhaim tweets Nasri deal to City is done. 4 year deal. €29m fee.
Why on earth City would pay us so much is beyond me. Are we their charity of the season?
Thats the last we'll hear about that money until January when it looks like we won't make "the prize".
