Tbf i've seen alot of his interviews and he speaks better english than alot of english footballers including Wilshere.

Van Persie, Song, Walcott and Arshavin ... I'm guessing we'll be looking to cash in on Arshavin. The rest look likely to stay to me, though I suppose that may change. Theo's the most likely departure since he's starting to whine about being played wide. Can't see any way Song will leave.

The idea that Van Persie will be 'another Fabregas' seems like rot to me. The guy has a different background, he's at a different stage of life and he has a different psychology. He'll be 29 next summer.

Van Persie will sign his last contract with Arsenal. He said himself that the only club he'll play for after Arsenal is Excelsior Rotterdam where he has a stand named after him.

pfffft nasri can do one. he's not come out and said his desire is to remain at the club and that he hopes a deal can be agreed which says to me he wants out.

I call bullshit on this one. A lot of Arsenal fans feel betrayed by seeing our top players leave and think that belittling them makes it hurt less, but it only makes them look bitter.

I don't blame Cesc for leaving and neither do I blame Nasri for not extending his contract. Top players want to win trophies AND get paid well.

As Kami said, Wenger(the board's lack of ambition) is only wasting their time.

i'm sick of players who feel they are above the club and i love those who are committed to the cause.

Jack, I thnk you need to take a step back. What is causing players to dick us around. I feel like in just about all the instances we have seen in recent years, the origin of the problem has been cash. There are exceptions. I think Henry was a man genuinely looking for new challenges, something he has repeated with his journey to New York. Adebayor is an immature individual who will never find satisfaction and Cesc wanted to join his buddies and be part of the greatest show in human history (sic). But the rest all feel like stories that emanated from a desire to make more money. How they then go about showing it is up to the individual player. Some are more mature (Flamini) and others are less calculating (Cashley), but there is a big problem around us not being able to pay our players.

Contrast with United. They lose stars all the time, but they're not losing Tevez and Ronaldo because they want to be paid more. This is a problem for us

Aye, that's all good and well, but you'll find that there aren't many top footballers out there who are loyal and look out for the club's interests first. You might see young prodigies that are fired up and give their all to the club, but when they reach a certain age(24 in this case) and see that the club is just dicking around and constantly replacing experience with youth or not investing enough into the squad, they slowly but surely become disillusioned and start looking for other options. After all, a footballers career is only so short. Would be nice to have a couple of trophies to look back at the end of it- especially if we're talking about a super quality player.
