Well Nasri is still doing his job and is happy to fulfil his commitments to Arsenal right up until the end of his contract. To me thats disappointing but we can't hold him hostage and if we want we can sell him to the highest bidder. Nasri is looking after himself but he's not fucking us over.

On the other hand Cesc isn't doing his job now. Doesn't want to fulfil his contract and is stopping us from selling him for a fair market price.

I seriously fail to see how people think Nasri is worse than Cesc in this situation.

I agree with you, although I'd rather see Nasri leave before Cesc.

Nasri's doing what 90% of all footballers would do. He wants his money, he wants trophies. The club he plays for is immaterial. And he's not quite threatened to not play or kick up a fuss yet. It's similar to how he dealt with Marseille, although with them he signed a contract so that they would be suitably repaid.

Fabregas on the other hand has been incredibly wishy washy about the whole affair for far too long.

Blanc is saying that Nasri is in talks with arsenal not to sign a deal but to find another club to join .

If it's a compromise that sees us keeping Fabregas and signing Mata then I'm all for it. I think we've got a replacement for Cesc in Ramsey already, but he needs at least another season to get back to his best and gain consistency. After that Cesc can leave, but not sooner.

What gives you the impression that Arsenal have decided Cesc stays in the last week? The only thing that's happening there is Barcelona are testing our patience. When they hit the equivalent of our 40m pound reservation price, we'll give them the boy. And, by the way, they're not far. They just need to bid 36m pounds and get Cesc to forego his 4m pound loyalty bonus

I wanted Nasri out before the speculation so i'm glad its about to happen. We wont miss a player who made the most passes in the final third but only has one assist to his name.

Nasri out and Mata in would make my summer.

Only if you don't go on to qualify.

If we go out and Cesc/Nasri play then they are not cup-tied. If they play and we go through then they are.

Wenger will have had a big say. Gazidis might have laid it on the table for him, but if Arsene wanted to keep him he would have.

Not sure about that, Ricky. Arsenal are a listed club. If there is a financial argument for dumping Nasri (ie 22 million pounds), then Wenger will have to listen to the Managing and Financial Directors
