As for him being rubbish today, Robin has been crap all pre-season as well.

Nasri has to perform next season to be in the French starting XI for the Euros. No way will he go through the motions next season, especially after him being cut from the WC squad.

If Nasri was setting the world on fire, I'd be all for it, but he's been horrid for a few months now. Why won't Wenger end our suffering?

He's going to get the Adebayor treatment next season if he stays, and doesn't sign.

I think the club are just posturing though, still.

True... Adebayor signed in the end.

Most of the Ade hate came right at the start, then it died down pretty quick, but came back again towards the end of the season when he turned into a lazy cunt, and worse yet when he had a go at the fans.

I think Nasri might get a bit of abuse but if he performs I think the fans will lay off him.

If he doesn't, and Arsenal struggle, he'll be a prime scapegoat.

What about Mr Arsene Wenger. If Arsenal don't perform fans will target Wenger much before Nasri.

You did say before that you sensed something had changed and people had reached the limits of their tolerance, could there be a glimmer of hope that the crowd will make it clear to him (Wenger not Eboue) that the same old rubbish is not acceptable at last.

Wenger's contract will run out before I get to that point and I'm sure a lot of the crowd feel the same.

That being said, the board and Wenger are not stupid and further signs of frustration at the end of games and during games towards the side in general will probably give Wenger and the board the hint.

I reckon a significant portion of the crowd are extremely unhappy with Arsene's performance over the last few years, and if next season begins as badly as the last one finished, it won't take until the 37th game for the unrest to appear.

But it won't be before Nasri, Diaby, Rosicky, Squillaci, Koscielny and maybe a few others feel plenty of heat.
