Ultimately though IG, you are living in the past with that train of thought. We are not indebted Wenger; we are grateful for what he has done but every dog had his day and Wenger is clearly unable to move things on any further and risks obliterating his legacy by staying in the hot-seat.

Equally, we have moved on from the pre-Wenger era and as such, our expectation has (reasonably) changed. However, we have not progressed accordingly and our manager has failed to adapt. Times change...

Therefore, if you love him, you'd want him to let go. 😉

Before you bang on about the last six years as you do Biggus , the situation the club was in back then is far different to what it is now. Can completely understand why club was prudent up until two seasons ago. Less so last year, and no reason for it not to spend relatively large sums this summer on quality players to improve

He's not infallible - if we havent strengthened by the start of the season, and we start poorly, it will impossible to feel sorry for him, as largely he has brought it upon himself with his inaction this summer.

As I said it could get much worse if things keep going on the way they do, we could miss out on Europe altogether not just 4th, don't forget even the great Brian Clough took Forest down.
We owe Wenger nothing as Don said, what other supporters of a so-called top side would tolerate what we have?
Wenger has exhausted all his good will and has overstayed his welcome, his players don't believe in him anymore and neither do I.

The Sun says Nasri is off to City. Anybody have credible info to prove / disprove this?

I dont believe the Mail or The Sun. Matt Law, John Cross and SSN all say there's been no movement on the Nasri situation over the last few days.

Nasri's agent is Alain Migliaccio. He was represented by Jean-Pierre Bernes at some point in the past, but I think it was long before he signed for Arsenal. Can't imagine Wenger would have any business with Bernes after his involvement in the french match-fixing scandal.

It's most likely rubbish. Agents aren't well-known usually so unless they come out with some kind of statement the newspapers are unlikely to pick up on their names. And when they do they often end up quoting some middleman that has been hired to negotiate the transfer for the buying club. For instance, a couple of years ago Vincenzo Morabito was widely quoted both in newspapers and on television as Adebayor's agent around the time all those Milan stories emerged. In reality Morabito is a guy on Milan's payroll whose job is to negotiate transfers. Adebayor had never even met the guy.

Doesn't Bernes work for Migliaccio?
