Just too many teams/owners are competing for limited prize. With Mou it depends on what Roman wants. He wanted Pep not just for the trophies but for the style/philosophy/appreciation. Sure Mou can win, but at what cost and in what style. That should be interesting.

Think Chelsea will do well, with a top notch striker and a good CM they'll be challenging next season.

The striker isn't even that necessary tbh, Lukaku, Ba, and Torres is fine for the striker position.

Not really sure I see what Brendan Rogers does in Iago Aspas. He's decent, for sure, but not much more than that. Odd one.

I think he's a very interesting player personally. Small but very technical, smart and creative. He's arguably a level below Mata, Silva and Cazorla but less will do for Liverpool since they can't attract that caliber of players anyway.

I haven't really read the quotes from the Q&A properly, but it seems to me that a lot of people have misunderstood what Gazidis has said about clubs that are yet to appoint a manager affecting our transfer dealings. I don't think he's saying that we're necessarily trying to buy players from those clubs, more that the chain reaction that occurs when one big transfer goes through hasn't started yet.

Personally i feel we could have done with Vertonghen. He could have developed into that Arteta-ish role IMO.
