IMO it would be an incredibly poor decision by Neymar to go to Barcelona. He is not at all about playing a bit part, subdued role which plays to Messi's strengths. Think he would join the club of top players who have had limited success there, like Ibrahimovic, Villa, Fabregas and Sanchez.

Barca's wide options are weak, he'd probably make the LW position his own. It'd make more sense for him to go to Barca rather than Real imo.

I think he will rip it up on the left wing. He's not a playmaker or a striker who will get in Messi's way.

When you play for Barcelona you have to play a very disciplined game, if your name isn't Messi of course. That is not how I see Neymar at all. He is a top player of course, so calling him a 'hit' or a 'flop' is all relative. I don't think it will be beneficiary for him as a footballer though.
