Can't believe you guys are talking about signing Given when we have 2 good keepers already. One of the least worries of our problems
Seems Sanchez to Barcelona is done. 26m euros initially with a possible 11 in add-ons.
Is that it?
Would they contrive to under report the deal size to try and get some leverage in the Cesc situation?
I don't think it should make a difference as we will have a price below which we won't sell but still.
if they've secured him for a lower price they should have the dollar to match our asking price 🙂

Just to clarify.
If I remember properly, they said that they had 40m euros plus whatever they make to spend this summer. Ibrahimovich was sold for 20 odd (assuming that they are including that money in their initial estimate) and they are shifting around 15m worth of fringe players. c.50m euros just about covers the reported fee for Cesc.
Udinese were reported to be steadfast in their asking price of €40 Mn.
Considering add-ons that fee isn't too far off that number but surprising nevertheless.
Barca have got themselves a good player.
I think that was the 'ManCity asking price'.
Quite surprised Barca managed to get Sanchez for such low fee. Superb deal for them, even more unbeatable now.
I don't think he'll improve them that much if at all
Can't see it either assuming that they are keeping everyone.
There was a point last season where they looked to be on their last legs and I suppose there is a case for that fatigue catching up with them this year but it's alot of money for a B player.
I see it as them improving their squad, too. Pedro will start more often I think, Villa and Messi are a given.

Tevez to Inter?
Good job Italy is so much closer to his family.
Alot of clubs finishing pre-season tours plus Copa America almost over seems to be equaling a market explosion.
Hopefully that's the case and we're heavily involved.
More likely we will wait until the big spenders are done and then do our business trying to get whoever is left looking for a new club.
Sure.
We're like the nerd in high school with no hope of landing the hot girls, watching the cool guys snap them up instead. We just need to hope that one of the attractive players takes pity on us and wants to be with us.
Only way I think we will sign a 'big' player, like with Arshavin. Someone eager to leave who is not picked up by one of the big spenders that is.
You guys make me laugh sometimes. We're not Leyton Orient - as if that needs pointing out.
Can you really see us getting Cahill when Bolton are still asking for 17m, or Mata when Valencia are asking for 20+m? Personally I can only see it happening if they are still available near the end of the window and the respective clubs are willing to lower their asking prices.
