I am not surprised by KPB' transfer to Schalke to be honest. After an excellent first season, he has been very inconsistent and had some extremely poor performances. Also there are concerns about the condition of his knees.

Perhaps Milan thought that this was their best chance to cash in. Plus it opens up a space in the team for Honda/kaka.

18 million is a lot for Sakho. He has all the tools to be a monster CB but he has not progressed as a player in the last 2 seasons.

I think early on when the Spurs stuff was quiet it seemed like Bale would stay but since they made their first big signing I thought he would leave.

Seems like he might of been keen to go back to Germany, with it being a world cup year probably wants to regain some form as well.
