Haha, I'd love it if they announced on Arse.com tomorrow that Eboue's contract has gone up by £72.

The club could start an adopt an Eboue for a season campaign. They send you news letters and pamphlets through the post to let you know how he's doing, if he's eating well etc.

It is a little outdated in places though (in Wenger we trust- 75% optimistic ????)
Most utilised player Tommy V, no wonder he broke.
Followed by Bacary Sagna, he is a great player much under rated, one of the few things I have little to moan about.
Average position 3.6- yep they got our number alright.

Not a bad summation but quite literally nothing new in there for an Arsenal follower. The opinions of Swiss Ramble and Zonal Marking were nothing if not the received wisdom.

The club needs to buy top-class players to win the trophies we crave. This requires investment. what is not clear is whether the board shares this view.
If the role of a board member is to oversee a trophyless period, while making significant personal profits and asking fans to pay the cost with inflation-busting ticket price increases then, no, I would not want to be on the board.

Why the public show of dissent from Usmanov?
I agree with him but I wonder at his motives.
