On Nasri; I want him to stay but only in so much as his departure weakens the squad. As I said already, I'm sure that we could get an equivalent player in with the figures that we are talking about but the standing still has to stop; we need blockbuster signings on top of what we have.
Captain, upon reading this, I think you and I are more closely-aligned on the Nasri issue. Yes, I think he is replaceable at the end of the day, but I really want to keep him because we need to retain our better players while shedding the trash.
If Nasri was playing on the invincible squad or even the one that had a fit Adebayor, Hleb and Rosicky, I'd be fine with him walking.
