Whats cesc thinking while watching all his mates enjoy and lift their umpteenth trophy while he is rotting here seeing us constantly flop...
Honestly can we really blame him for wanting to leave

Hernandez and Valencia were really funny tonight.
My faith it football wouldve between shaken to its foundations of united had nicked it. rooney aside, they were abominable

My thoughts exactly
Very well deserved victory for Barcelona. They won playing their football without the need of dirty tactics getting involved, and they can be proud of that at least. Carved Man Utd open time and time again with Evra playing a huge part in Utd's failings, how joyous that was.
The gulf in class was absolutely shocking when you consider they were up against the second or third best side on the planet.
Hope the folks in the first page feel silly now.
Really chuffed. Now we can put this miserable season behind us. Should put a few of those wanker United supporters, that we all know at least one of, in their place for a while.

-Each side won the European cup 3 times
-Total Squad Cost. Barca 177m : Man Utd 398m
-Club Valuation. Barca 1b : Man Utd 1.8b
Is that the cost of tonight's 18 man squad, or is it including the 10 or so other players that didn't make the match squad?
Highlight of the game for me was the part where they show Fungus and his old, trembling fists!
Gif of Messi merking Nani, please.
Oh, and that nutmeg on Vidic as well. Delishious
I thought Vidic actually played pretty well.
Delighted to see Barcelona win, for all their diving and Cesc-bating, they're a great side, and a pleasure to watch.
My word, I'm just watching the highlights now - they fucking destroyed them! Loving it. Love, love, loving it!
How anyone can call Barcelona boring is beyond me. I wish we could produce football of that quality, and that bloody 'boring'. Magnificent.
Great and deserved that United lost but felt absolute zero emotion seeing Barca win.
Perhaps I'm some kind of philisitine for not bowing to that Barca performance.
Messi is out of this world though.
To think that we beat them.
That's what gets me.
all i could think about were how ugly iniesta and xavi are. they really just look like latin trolls.
the match was so boring, just like every barca match. pass you to sleep. disappointed united didnt get more physical with them. valencia at least knocked messi around a bit, the little midget.

It is quite funny how some folks around here can't stop raving about United pointing out we should be more like them and put down Barca saying we should avoid trying to be like them.
you can love barca all you want. i genuinely don't like the way they play. can't say i'm biased because i don't like when we (try to) play that way, either.
if i had to emulate a team, it would be arsenal circa 2001-05. i don't pray at the altar of pure technique and short passing, i believe football is also an athletic contest and i enjoy watching the likes of vieira tossing aside his opponents while juggling the ball over their heads, or henry blowing through a defence with his ridiculous combination of skill and pace. if i wanted to watch futsal, i'd watch futsal.
is barca an irresistible passing team? yes. but you know what, you get them on the back foot and they're not that great at actual defending. they might be the best possession team ever, but i don't think they're that balanced, they're full of cunts and divers, and their entire club culture is arrogant and presumptuous (more than a club? get off it...).
barcelona didn't invent football, and the way they play certainly isn't the only way to win. if you want to put them on a pedestal, be my guest, but don't denigrate my opinions or preferences.
Delighted with that score.
United fans distraught over here in NY.
I was worried when Rooney scored that they might win but luckily Barca stepped up a gear.
All the goals were excellent though. I was impressed with Rooney's. Great one-two passing that Barca would have been proud of. Pedro's goal was decent too. Villa's technique for the third was brilliant. Way to kill a game. And the passion that Messi showed for his celebration was great. Smack in the back of the net.
So let's hope we avoid Barca next season.

I agree with your sentiment about Barca in general but no way was that game dull.
Also just out of interest, but what has Iniesta's and Xavi's latin background got to do with their ugliness? I'm genuinely intrigued to hear your logic.

Would we have won a final in Wembley against Barca?
Seriously doubt it. But yes i'm more surprised now that we beat Barca (in one leg) than at the time.
