It's all pretty hilarious, the government's sort of snookered itself politically.
The whole point was meant to be "rules are rules", but then the Federal Court handed him a win, but then all these other procedural irregularities emerge, everything from his PCR test result probably being fake (see Der Spiegel) to his travel statement being false, so now it's up to shithead Minister Alex Hawke (genuine piece of work that guy, actually he's even more of a right wing tool than Djokovic), who's probably bricking it, to make a high profile call and wear the embarrassment of international attention if they want to actually take him down.
If they don't, it'll be an absolute circus at the Open itself.
