The Mings stamp on Oliveira the other day and the subsequent discussion whether he should go to jail or not reminded me of the fight between Richard Grant and James Butler where after winning a decision Grant goes to hug Butler and is brutally knocked out by him. His jaw was broken and dislocated and his tongue needed 26 stitches:
Butler ended up in prison for four months. The same Butler also eventually a couple years later was convicted of the murder of Sam Kellerman, the brother of one of the best boxing analysts and sports journalists around Max Kellerman. I knew about this for a while but not until now did I dig into the background of that murder when I found this article:

It's a very well written and pretty long read about a heart wrenching story. If you have an interest in boxing or know Max Kellerman it's a must read but even if not it's worth trying.
