Have to say McGregor's performance was extremely impressive. Him vs Khabib would be a toss up I think, McGregor is a lot better striking but no one gets close to Khabib in grappling, there's a video of him aged 9 wrestling a small bear ffs.

Also what's with Aldo? Read somewhere he retired from retirement, doesn't that mean he'll have a rematch with McGregor?

It was a genuine question, of course I would too. I still hold Aldo on a good day could drop McGregor, Edgar looked like a complete amateur against him in his last fight.

Also since we're talking about MMA I definitely want to see Michael Page get some interesting fights, UFC or elsewhere I don't care. This guy is one of the most entertaining and devastating fighters around

Don't google the latter fight if you're a bit faint hearted, he literally caved Cyborg's forehead in.

I don't think McGregor will ever defend his featherweight title, he can't really make that weight anymore. I think Tony Ferguson is also another potential candidate with Khabib.

I'll never be able to enjoy fights on the ground and "aesthetically" speaking or in terms of technique it's not K-1 or even boxing but there are many great fighters and good matches these days.

Not really. I don't pay much attention to non Arsenal footballers. But from the little I read he seems to come off as supremely self confident, perhaps bordering on arrogant. I think he has a strong character/personality, which I find refreshing and entertaining.

Thought it was just a blip vs Chilemba but Kovalev doesn't look nearly as good as he did a year ago. Still a homer decision as you say, Ward didn't do enough for the win. While he's taken to 175 very well he seems to have become even dirtier since his return from hiatus, lost count how many times he headbutted Kova.

Lomachenko completely destroyed Walters last night, didn't expect that bout to end up this lopsided. Looked more like a tuneup mismatch than a big title fight, Lomachenko destroyed his soul and quite visibly so
