when you add in jones, they will have 8 players on the roster and be at like $90m.
i really dont understand the nba salary cap, because i think you need an advanced degree in mathematics to comprehend all of the exceptions, but they are probably banking on a bunch of guys taking less money to come play for them.
As far as I can work out, there's basically seven players who are on the roster or will be (Curry, Thompson, Green, Iguodala, Durant, Livingston, Looney). Then there's the two rookies they just drafted McCaw and Jones.
You can go over the cap to resign your own player IIRC, so really cheap backups like Rush, Barbosa, and McAdoo could be back depending on what they're willing to take.
The key exception is the 3m one. That could turn about to be the equivalent of David West to the Spurs last year. I think Zaza Pachulia might be a good fit seeing as it looks like Bogut might be traded to Dallas.
The rest of the roster to be filled out with D-Leaguers. There might be another exception, however, in which case they can hope for a glory hunting bet on the cheap
