I think despite the result which in the end is really difficult to absorb, England can take a lot of heart from their resilience shown today. At 5 down with a full day's play left, I thought it would be over in a session and a half.
Cook really needs to be a little more aggressive. He should have declared earlier in the first Test and should have put more pressure in the 2nd SL innings in this match. Moreover his batting is being affected.
India's bowling doesn't pose much of a threat but then England's batting is brittle, inexperienced and can be exposed too. It will be a fantastic battle, can't wait.
