I reckon so too. Less so because "no one wants him" because reports say there are clubs that want him, and more so because Arteta values him.

Can't say I'm displeased at that as I think he will return to form if given a run of games , which hasn't been a given over the last two seasons. Otherwise if he isn't being used regularly then I'd prefer we shift him.

daredevil It was pretty much between Gyokeres and Sesko who were close in price when they started negotiations. Don't think the club were really thinking "if we can't get Rogers for £90-£100 million we'll get Tzolis instead". In fact I it appears Tzolis was pretty much done and dusted and they were still firmly in for Rogers.

i watched a last 17 shots video of his and even though he missed a couple sitters he still scored like 5 goals and looked to be an excellent ball striker.

Meatwad I've got a lot of time for forwards who can shoot without a big backlift (and conversely: no time at all for those who can't). They're liable to score from fewer shots and they need to create less separation. I think it's one of the key attributes in modern football where tactics are so geared towards minimizing risks. If a defender shows these guys on the outside they'll generate a shot that the keeper won't be able to hold anyway.
