This tells me we are going big on Rogers and this guy will be the back up.

Hopefully will prove his worth as a squadie. Looks fairly capable on the left. Good technique and shooting but obviously the PL will be a big step up. Wouldn't be worried about him in the cups or UCL though.

As much as I wanted Barcola to back up Rogers was never realistic. He isn't going to go from PSG's bench to ours. He is leaving them to play. If we don't get Rogers reckon we could pivot to Barcola. Still holding out hope for Kroupi too.

Kvara is rapid over distance. This guy seems slow over distance but explosive in short bursts.

As a backup winger he seems ok as long as we still go for someone else like Barcola / Yildiz

I think in an ideal window we are looking for the following profiles (assuming Jesus, Norgaard, Trossard and likely Martinelli depart):

Traditional LW (replacing Martinelli): Barcola, Gordon (before he got signed)
Small spaces/pockets LW (replacing Trossard): Tzolis, Godts
Versatile attacker/attacking midfielder (replacing Jesus): Rogers, Yildiz, Alvarez, Kroupi
CM who can cover Rice or partner him (replacing Norgaard): Fernandes, Tonali, Bouaddi, Kone, Scott

I could also see Yildiz being recruited as a main LW signing as he sits in both categories. I think our goal this summer is to grab the best available signing we can in each of these profiles. If we can accomplish this, I love our chances of winning multiple trophies next year and having more fun in the attacking end.
