I would be surprised if Saliba is back that quickly. Rice and Saka, yeah, they need to rest their strained muscle injuries for about a month or so, but Saliba, if he has any kind of procedure, might be a bit longer than that.
USArsenal those reports are from before he went off. I think he'll be a bit longer too. There is no decision on a back procedure yet though. I'm not listening to anything on that until he's back with the Arsenal doctors.
Qwiss Oh yeah, completely agreed. It could be a minor procedure, or it could be more significant. So we're probably looking anywhere between 1 month and 6 months depending on what everyone agrees on. Unless he completely shattered a disc or something, i would hazard to guess it will be more minor than major. But maybe thats just my heart wishing it into reality

I'm sure the club would love to sell but who wants to buy a 30 year old striker who doesn't score goals, has no knees left, and earns 300K per week?
I think our only options are to either keep him on the fringes or to pay part of his wages to have him play for another club on loan.
Jesus is the sort of player who is top of no ones list so if he moves it'll be late in the window when someone gets desperate.
I suspect the club has an understanding to let him go on a free with a % of his last year's wage paid if he doesn't get a move during the transfer window. Feels like the way these long-term injury cases go typically.
Limited time he played for us I thought he did alright, true professional throughout and there were stories when we started to wobble at the end he was one of the guys who stood up and showed leadership.
Still remember that clip of him getting emotional seeing his son in an Arsenal shirt, wish him all the best.

Don Pacifico lost money? accounting wise it's a small profit or break even at worse. i'm sure we paid the 2m in top ups to brentford so call it a 12m deal over 2 years, amortized for 6m a year and we're selling for 7m. and from a non-accounting perspective we paid 5m for a 1 yr rental.
Easy to think he was a pointless signing in hindsight but it's only because we were lucky enough that we didn't have to use him. Good squad depth to have around, but him leaving is a good solution for both him and us. We have younger players who need the minutes and Nörgaard should keep playing regularly in Premier League while he can, or he'll regret it once his career is over.
Klaus exactly. He probably should have played more cup football but still I don't think signing him was a waste. Good contingency, probably didn't meet some expectation of Artetas that lead to him being underused and we move him on this summer at no great loss to anyone. Pretty much no downside to deal really, Norgaard heads back to his career as a solid PL player but now he's had an experience of a big club and a PL winners medal in his pocket.

Qwiss I think it's odd because Arteta clearly didn't really want to play him at I don't get the point. We should have been able to rotate a bit more but he wasn't in the famous trust grouping.
