Whatever the intricates are about Nwaneri's situation the people who have worked closely with him for the last few years are making a judgement call. It might be about how he has responded to challenges or it might simply be that the squad is full. Or he might not leave at all, maybe his agent is just making sure that he doesn't feel forgotten.
It would suck to lose someone with this talent, let alone an academy kid, but talent is at best half of the equation when it comes to the making of a top footballer and usually much less.
