awooga83 he never really beat defenders with pace. He beat them with flair and good footwork and he will does that now.
Gurgen he did use acceleration to shift the ball and give himself half a yard to get space from the defender and get a strike away. He has lost that as many of his shots now get blocked because he doesn't seem to have that ability anymore and he isn't really that great a technical dribbler for me that trickery can compensate.
Saka was a huge miss.
Think England need a complete change in style.

So.... this could be interesting.. Wildfires in Canada could potentially affect the World Cup final. Smoke has reached as far South as NJ (which is where the final is). I have even had haze and a slight smoke smell at my house, which is about an hour and a half south of where the final will be played. Supposed to rain/storm tomorrow which will help clear it out, but if not, it could make it more difficult for the players to breathe properly. Lets see how this plays out.
