Qwiss and ultimately it was decided by the officials of the game..Football has always had outcomes from referring where you might argue either side but that's football. You can't start after the match is start just overturning stuff like this because you could start to argue so many decisions that way.

Many competitions have an appeals process where you can't change the outcome of the game but you can get the punishment going forward lessened (or increased sometimes in the case of a "frivolous" appeal). The problem here is the lack of process and transparency. It's pure discretion, no explanation of who made the decision or on what basis.

lmao, FIFA do him a favour and he's absolutely screwed them over by saying he got involved and got it overturned. Though he did say he didn't ask for it to be overturned, just reviewed.
