City were a team of two halves. I would also pay more attention to their points tally in the second half of the season. They lost points at the start of the season with James Trafford and then went and bought Donarumma, Guehi and Semenyo.

It's a young side and they will be our biggest challengers again. Doku certainly turning into an end product player would not be a good outcome. The positives are that Silva is leaving and I can't see them finding a player of his talent on the market. Hopefully, Rodri goes as well.

The mistake wasn't subbing Saka and Tross . It was putting on both Mart and Noni. One of those should have been Eze , we would have cooked them

He's the only player today I felt a bit critical towards at the end. Probably should towards Ødegaard as well, and Martinelli and Madueke were annoying the shit out of me right after they got on the pitch … but it's just a challenge when Eze's renowned appealing, languid style doesn't have a switch that flips to serious and intense mode at any point. If he doesn't get a big moment it tends to feel he's just fucking around.

swider Yeah Ødegaard was quite worthless I fully agree. It's a vibe thing with Eze as I said, it's got to do with his style. The sense he can't simply run fast in straight lines makes it extra annoying he dragged his penalty wide for example.

We do have a few issues with the class of 21–22 or so in this squad. Being realistic, now is not the right moment to pretend we're taking stock of these issues with any perfect rationality. Might be better to log on in a day or two when the fog clears and we remember we're the league champions.
