Asterix you start him. This guy is by far our best player. He typically sparks the attack and creates the first chances. We can’t afford to wait especially because our crowd is very sensitive to team energy. We should be on the front foot. Saka, Eze and Trossard should all start.

Only changes I would make from Saturday are Zubi obviously and then Hincapie just because Simeone does a lot of running down their right

Not sure why Zubimendi deserves to start this one, but he obviously will.

Myles is a big game player and was superb in this competition last year, plus he just played an impressive game against Fulham. I'd love for Arteta to be bold here.

Yeah, i dont see any way MLS starts here over Zubi.. I get that MLS had a great game against an under-strengthed Fulham team, but Im pretty sure he played because Arteta wanted to rest Zubi for today's game.

Looks like we've got Ode and Kai back, so that leaves the one big loss that I really think we needed in order to comfortably win (Timber). White at RB makes me nervous in this kind of a game. Although if Saka is going to start (hopefully), that will go some way in mitigating that.

So that leaves the LW.. Trossard? (after perhaps his best game in months) Martinelli? (his best performances are in the CL). Eze? (or will he compete with Odegaard for the 10 spot?)

If Odegaard is fit to start, I'd put Eze left wing. If not, Trossard deserves to keep his place.

Zubumendi should obviously start. Been very good lately and pretty much all season bar a normal bad game or 2.

I would say he has not been 'very good lately', he has had more than one or two bad games. More like 5 or 6. That said, he controls the tempo of a game better than anyone else in the team. I think much of his poor form is down to fitness and playing a shitload of games this season. Its something he has had to come to terms with especially in a very physically demanding league. The rest v. Fulham was something very much needed, so lets hope he will be fresher today. Lets hope he does not make one of those "WTF" errors today.

I prefer Cala as a player but would rotate him while he ramps up. Cala is potentially a top 5 player for us. Scared of losing him

Well, we have minimum of 4 games (maximum of 5) left in the season. This is not "ramp up" time. He's not even going to the WC, so i say we play him as much as we can. None of this ramping up nonsense.

USArsenal I think he might be the most important player for us in the 3 PL games just based on the playing styles of West Ham, Burnley and Palace. That would be the only reason why I wouldn't start him tonight, but I also wouldn't be up in arms if he is starting. He's an absolute maverick and changes our attack singlehandedly.

Calafiori is a world class talent. Fantastic footballer and with an imposing physical presence to boot.

Really hope he gets over the injuries.

Just look where he was at times v. Fulham.. he was pressing their CB's FFS, he roams all over the place, and can function well in any of those spaces. It throws opponents off too. As long as we have someone covering his areas when he goes galavanting, he unstabilizes other teams. Fulham didnt know who to mark because we were fluid, and Cala is a big part of making that happen.
