Do you think it’s a coincidence that we score so many set piece goals, and Liverpool, spurs and United have followed suit. That Brentford has specialists who hurl the ball. Teams are tough to break down now. And a lot of what you see is a reaction to Klopp/Guardiola. Other managers have learned siege defense, and the protagonists have had to focus on set piece / throw in set plays. Once defences / rules catch up, the game will evolve again. Combine this with an ever more packed schedule, and nobody is going to dominate the premier league with 90 or 100 points for a few seasons.
