I don’t think I’ve seen rodgers play except presumably for our matches against villa and I can’t recall him standing out. Having a quick look at his stats, which isn’t the whole picture of course, he doesn’t look exceptionally productive

Irishgunner he’s been loose with his play every time I’ve seen him live.

However I think he has traits which Mikel is attracted too. Big one being him laying punches on big teams - he was superb against PSG the season before last in both legs

one aspect that makes me pro-rogers is he can boost our transitions. our defense is superb, but our transitions from defense to attack constantly breaks down. he can help us alot there

Gazza M yep. He's great for a quick pass through the lines and also has a bit of pace and is generally a strong runner.

Could see a midfield of Rice, Odegaard and Rogers working in certain games. Could be useful breaking low blocks - Ode can do the passing and Rogers the bulldozing.
