Don't think Tonali is destined for the top tier @Klaus but I think he could be a vital part in our team for 2 - 4 years of consistent success. He'll never match Rice's level for example, but I do agree he could match/beat the levels of Zubimendi, MLS and other transfer options.
As for Bouaddi, he looks great, but I do wonder if he's a little too similar to MLS in regards to where he plays and a desired freedom to get him on ball. MLS may turn and dribble more, while Bouaddi seems to favor a sharp first touch to open a passing lane, but they both seem designed to invite pressure before quickly accelerating play. Anyways, not a big concern if we replace Norgaard with Bouaddi and let him and MLS (and Zubi) compete for minutes!
My bigger concern is Odegaard.
I know people are excited by Dowman and Nwaneri, but I just don't see the balance in their games that would let Arteta trust them. So are we counting on Eze to transform into an Odegaard replacement, or for a shift to more adventurous 8's with Morgan Rogers and Eze?
That part of our midfield feels like the biggest glaring weakness to our team. Truthfully, it concerns me as much as our LWF plans because I am really worried about Timber, Odegaard, and Saka's health and in turn the effectiveness of our entire right flank.
