Mirth if you look at creativity vs goal scoring comparisons, Odegaard is on the frontier for creativity guys like Mbappe are on frontier for scoring. Dembele both. There are very few players who can create like Odegaard. You don’t give that kind of frontier talent away just because he’s not a scorer, so you can focus on second tier impact players

I think we are going to move quickly on market opportunity signings like Kone and Tzolis since they aren’t big targets and their prices will largely get offset by sales. I unfortunately think that our big signings (2-3 max) will be more drawn out sagas this summer.

Think Ode will increasingly play further back for us. Don't see signing Rogers as impacting his selection for us.

Don Pacifico I’ve been hoping for this for years. I’ve always said he is far closer to Bernardo than he is KDB. I think we move him further back this year to support buildup more without needing as much end product and see how it works. If it doesn’t, I’d expect us to move him on but not this summer. I hope we don’t move too many players other than Jesus, Norgaard, Martinelli and/or Trossard (as long as we replace them). We will need a big squad to deal with post WC fitness for a good portion of the fall. If we need to trim the squad further we can always do it in January and next summer.
