Mirth I think it’s because he has more physical power than our current options and is better able to impose his game on the opponents. He is also good at shooting from distance.

Gazza M players signed for Chelsea 20 years ago when they were known for the same. Ultimately players will want to sign for the team that is most likely going to win trophies and we are one of them.

lorddulaarsenal Cmon Lord this isn't the Arsenal of the 2010s. We are going to spend and add starting quality to the attack. I would be shocked if Monga is being bought to play any big minutes next year - he's going to be similar to Dowman and get maybe 100-200 PL minutes but mostly Cup games. Ideally, we play mostly youth/bench players in the entire League cup and early FA cup rounds.

I think people need to chill.. The window hasnt even opened yet, and its a WC summer. I will judge only once the season starts. We dont need an overhaul, we need some tweaks and super talent at the top end.
USArsenal feels like Real Madrid sending the feelers out rather than anything concrete IMO. They'll do this now and might wait 2 years before actually trying to sign him. They aren't in the habit of signing players with long deals remaining, especially not in defence. They're talking about 2 defenders in this summer too, ones Konate and its looking like the other is Dumfries.
