Maybe the first transfer take I've ever agreed with you on. Midfield isn't the number one need but it's top three and unless someone becomes available out of left field, Elliot Anderson is almost certainly going to be the best player available (in any position) this summer. Maybe the 115 charges punishment changes his mind. A Rice-Anderson-MLS-Zubimendi midfield group would be a murderer's row on par with our defensive group.

That's essentially what I was thinking too. I doubt anyone would want to go to City before the penalty has been announced, and if they're out of the running it just leaves us and United, who are a joke club. I feel that if we want Anderson this summer we'll get him. Whether we want him is another matter but I reckon he's too good to pass on. A guy like this comes around once every 5-10 years.

If we win Champions League, I'd love to just go big and completely refresh _half of the attacking line.

Gordon to Barca may open up a pathway for Martinelli to go to Bayern. Then we could replace him with an even faster runner in Barcola.
Reluctantly sell Leo but replace him with Rogers as our ball to feet LW and option in the midfield. Or move Eze to LW and have Rogers play the 10.
Sell or let Jesus leave for free and replace with Kroupi.
Sell Norgaard and bring in Matias Fernandes.

Rogers has the ability to become a phenomenon like Bale if under the right coach and environment. He showed glimpses of it during his purple patches in the last couple of seasons, with the one in late-2025 lasting longer. The kind of talent you can easily justify taking a risk on given his age and physical attributes.

Rogers and Kroupi would be my picks for attacking signings + keeping the most eligible Belgian bachelor for another season.

I like Elliot Anderson but I think there will be a massive bidding war over him, City are ahead but Man Utd supposedly also pushing hard for him. Forest already putting out through the media they are going to use the Caicedo £115m as a benchmark. If we assume Jesus, Martinelli and possibly Trossard are leaving we need at least two attacking players there who will eat massively into our transfer budget.
