Can't say I noticed him much before Sunday and was thinking during the game that he'd be a good pick up for a reasonable fee and only this week have realised that he's one of the most in-demand midfield prospects in the world with United, PSG etc. interested in him already. That said, no reason why we shouldn't be his first choice if we put our name in the hat. My United supporting friend is convinced he'd favour them because he idolises Bruno, and PSG are PSG so we'd be up against it but I'd back us to get it done if we go for it.
TambourineMan if he picked United over us it'd be less about Bruno and more that'd he'd be a starter there.
Anyway with Myles now a midfielder not sure Arteta will add another short guy in midfield.

I think he’s after more technical ability in their Q.
Myles will probably be a rotational option for Rice and Zubi with Fernandes Eze and Odegaard sharing match time.

lorddulaarsenal I don't think he's at his best in those attacking areas TBH. He's mostly come good since he moved deeper and his passing out from deep is probably his biggest strength for me. I don't think he's really an elite 10 in the making but the potential is definitely there at 6/8. If we got him to replace Norgaard I think it'd be great. If we want an attacking player I don't think he's the best for the money.

I’m interested in what people here think Kroupi’s realistic price would be in the summer. Feels like everyone thinks he’d be a cheaper signing but Bournemouth has given every indication that he will a) not be sold and b) go for a record price when he does. I don’t think he’s gettable for under 80 million and while I like his finishing, I haven’t seen enough of the rest of his game to justify anything close to that price. To me, he looks like someone with a ceiling close to Lacazette. That would mean you are basically paying for his ceiling now when you have no idea how close he will get to it. I would much rather a proven article like Alvarez if getting in a price range over 70m, even if it means paying considerably more.
Gyokeres showing signs of life in buildup and MLS’s new role in the midfield has shrunk my wishlist considerably. I want Fernandes, Barcola and Alvarez. Sell Jesus, Martinelli, Nwaneri (not happy about that) and Norgaard. And then if we move White on, I’d bring in Palestra.
And if Kvara is somehow available, I’d be fine with just Fernandes and Kvara.
