Klaus Bruno is definitely an exciting player all be it in an area we are already really strong. Tzolis is exciting in a more hopeful way. Definitely a low key signing but he may well prove to be a real gem. Konsa is a very boring signing again doubling down on an area of strength. I think in a summer where people wanted a marquee attacker so far its been fine but not terribly exciting.

Sure beats the shit out of just signing a hasbeen Petr Cech though.

Qwiss i would say there are 2 Invincibles players who are hard to match - Henry and Berkgamp, but we are up there with the Invincibles or better across the rest of the team.

Claudius - I would add Pires as the standard we want our wingers to be at. Unfortunately we have seen only Saka (none of our LWs) match that level a few seasons back, and not over the last two years.

Claudius Vieira, Pires, Campbell all more than hold their own against anyone in this squad. Probably Gilberto and Freddie as well. And even Ashley. And Lauren.

Claudius Raya best keeper of the PL era for me, 2 CBs up there with Sol, full backs I think still have it all to prove, same for the midfield, Rice is pushing for it but not quite Vieira yet, Saka is better than Freddie, Pires has no rival on the left, as you say Bergkamp and Henry levels above.

Trying to find the highlights of his league phase match against us but even in the first semi leg, Alvarez ran the show for Atletico while he was not at full fitness.

samthegooner He is a very good player, I'm not sure he is a €150m player though. Hopefully they'll see some sense and we can do a swap deal with Gyokeres.

samthegooner 2 touches in the box, one was the pen. He played so deep in that game. That's one of my worries with him. If we need an Odegaard replacement he'd be unreal but we don't, we have Odegaard.

All the usual suspects out with Nwaneri loaned and Alvarez or Barcola in to round off our window and I think that would be transfer plans very well executed and squad ready for all competitions this season.

Sicario2 Do you think if we replaced Havertz with him in the Cl final we'd have won? Once we sat back and delivered no service to Havertz it wouldn't have made a blind bit of difference. Could have Haaland, Kane, Mbappe, etc up there and they'd have done fuck all.

Sicario2 I'm not sure he is the player to win us the CL, I don't think there is x player who can do that. What he does have is unpredictability about him with his shooting and dribbling and that is something this team needs.

Qwiss Actually think he'd be really good playing off Havertz, like he did with Haaland. Havertz link play is a lot better than Haaland so think it could work well.

Gunner89 In a way I am glad that option is out of the way. We would be forced to pay stupid money for him and good as he is , not the k8nd of winger we need. Pardo or Said El Mala would be good signings if we dont get our superstar player. Either of those rotating with Tzolis would be great for the squad.
