i thought we use to have a separate wish list thread. some of these names aren't even realistic.
Manager first, players later. Let's at least start the headhunting now so we can bring someone in quickly.
If we are doing out lists mine is
Jesus White Havertz Trossard Madueke Norgaard
I'd have Cala close too but I'd give him one more year to see if he can get fit.

Calafiori broke down the moment we needed him. Hincapie is a vortex on the left side, so we desperately needed him back and he's gone MIA again during crunch time. Time to sell but my worry is that will only further cement Hincapie as the starting LB.
NIco Williams rumours resurfacing
daredevil Calafiori broke down the moment we needed him.
Did we do a medical? It's probably just coincidence but he came from the same club as Tomiyasu so I've wondered if we just got scammed on the medical process. We don't do ourselves any favours in signing players with these injury histories, then end up short when they are inevitably always injured. If only there was some way we could have known.
daredevil it's nuts that we legitimately need another left back this summer.
MLS is done under this manager Hincapié isn't good enough on the ball Calafiori is always injured
Great recruitment as per.
invisibleman18 every club has these issues. we are not unique. go look at Liverpool, City and Chelsea's seasons. Exactly the same. City had defensive cluster injuries. Liverpool have lost both their forwards. We've been hurt by how Saka, Ode, Havertz, Merino and to lesser extent Eze have been out at various times.
That's true, and some of those are just bad luck and injuries are going to happen. But it can hardly be surprising that someone like Calafiori for instance is constantly injured and the situation could perhaps have been avoided by signing someone else without that history. I don't claim to know who would have been better but possibly the Hincapie signing is our attempt at correcting it and maybe we should have signed him instead to start with.
Mostly it's just the PL. That's the league we play in, so we will have lots of brokedown bodies.
I can see why someone took the risk on Calafiori. He could be a Joao Cancelo level talent. Sometimes players seem gimpy and turn out fine. Like Olise who is now rounding into a top 5 player, but missed a lot of 2023/4 with hamstring and thigh injuries
Claudius I think I disagree on this their was lots of warnings about his injury problems I think that's a big mistake if your trying to build a title side availability is crucial. If you take the gamble of it goes wrong that's not on your add you can't say I'm unlucky the warning was there you chose to Igorot it.
awooga83 you’re probably like me. Quite risk averse. I wouldn’t have signed him if any doubts from medicals. But I’m not a doc, so hard to say
Linked to this guy today.
Certainly a profile we lack. Bring
Napoli rumoured to be keen on Trossard.
Anyone here open to swapping Gyokeres for Darwin Nunez?
MistaT no.
MistaT damn, he has 9 goals in 24 games in saudi arabia. what part of the game is that?
MistaT perfect Arteta player. Will run about a lot, get in good positions, work hard, all the non negotiables but can’t finish for shit. Only player with less finishing ability than Havertz
FEBravo he also has Gyok's first touch so...
