My gut reaction was to agree but then technically, that's what Noni is.

I think we just need more quality in the front line. To repeat what I (and quite a few others) were saying in the summer, we need game-breakers in the front line, players who can create their own chances out of nothing, who can (successfully!) take risks when the system isn't working.

They've an 18 year old English lad like that at Marseilles now. Dribbles from the centre, scores long rangers, can make his own chances, etc guys one of the hottest prospects in Europe. Would probably do better for us than Eze but I get the feeling Arteta probably wouldn't trust him enough to give him a serious role in the team any time soon.

lorddulaarsenal I think that's doing him a bit of a disservice. Not personally a fan of Cherki, although will hold my hands up and say I haven't watched him extensively. Looks a bit of a showpony to me.

Don Pacifico he should've been part of the squad in a much more serious way. When he's had chances in the middle he was better than Eze, when he had chances on the right he was better than Madueke.

Qwiss I don't think it's that cut and dry. Eze's probably had better games but just hasn't delivered on a regular enough basis.

I think there's are a legitimate argument that he's been better than Noni in the wing but sounds like it was his decision not to play there.

I reckon that's media bullshit. He's played on the right for Marseille already. He's hardly going to refuse to play RW here but be happy to play it for them.

I fell like I can justify most of the signings we made in the summer. Most people know I have my reservations about Gyokeres but I understood the decision. The big miss was not bringing in a LW.

Don Pacifico at the end of the day every transfer is a gamble. I had my reservations about Ezes fit in this team but I was very excited once we signed him, it hasn't worked out and that's ok. Maybe he can make it work before summer but if not, and he still doesn't have Artetas trust best for everyone to move on. Gyokeres is ok, not the revelation we hoped. I'd keep him and try to sign someone to be ahead of him in the pecking order.

Madueke was the only signing I was really miffed about and I still feel that way. I'd stick with him for another season after this though, he's ok back up. Then Dowman can take his spot. Not every player is going to be a star or a cult hero. Sometimes they're just a guy who's here for a while who does a job.

Qwiss I'd quite happily bin Gyokeres off. He's exactly what I expected, if not worse. I'm not convinced he's more effective than Havertz either and I want to upgrade on Havertz.

Don Pacifico I think if Havertz could stay fit and wasn't needed in midfield we'd be fine up front. However his injuries are a worry and he looks to be a midfielder again in Artetas eyes so we should just get a striker. For instance Alvarez with Gyokeres as back up would be excellent. Stronger than we've had since Auba left.

Don Pacifico we need him gone. He's a full level below what we need. Almost pointless - If he was a defender he'd have been Nørgaarded.

Qwiss that is a risk with Havertz. I just don't want to have to rely on Gyokeres starting a run of games if the first choice is out. He's far too limited in what he contributes.

I'd sell Havertz too , cant be relied upon. He looks like another Rosicky type.
