I think I'd take Yildiz ahead of Alvarez.

I know that's a pretty extreme stance as Alvarez is currently the better player, and Alvarez's ceiling is just as high as Yildiz. But my thinking is that we have 2-3 years to let Yildiz mature as he has solid competition at LWF and CF. He can step into our team much like RVP did and produce moments of magic without being asked to have a consistent impact.

If Yildiz continues his development and becomes more influential, you're looking at a player who literally has it all. I think he can actually create chances for himself better than Alvarez and there's a chance he'll be an absolute menace at LWF or CF where as Alvarez to me is too slight too impose himself unless he's a second striker (which we don't play with).

Mirth He's the kind of talent you have to take a punt on if you can afford to take a punt, but as a starter I think he's a waste of time right now, especially on the wing. He doesn't have the pace to get about out there. You can feel the tension already in Serie A and I think it's gonna be horrible to watch in Premier League.

Like MistaT I think he's going to end up centrally eventually but is cutting his teeth on the wing for Juve. Both Capello and Totti have compared him to del Piero.

Klaus -- the pace issue for me isn't a huge concern in our team. Trossard didn't have it, nor does Saka, so I see no reason why it's a requirement for Yildiz.

I'd be far more worried if he had no pace and couldn't create shooting opportunities for himself. Martinelli struggles to create shooting opportunities these days, but at least he has pace to create goals when the game has opened.

Yildiz is confident in taking on players. He completed 2.5 take ons per game in Serie A, double that of Alvarez (in La Liga), and in comparison to Leao and Trossard, he looks fine.

The Juve forum wasn't pleasant reading. They say he's a central player stuck out wide and he has no pace.

MistaT Yildiz is a classic example of looks a player, but more so in minutes (or matches) rather than seasons.

To be expected at his age no? He's the sort of player I'd be willing to punt on. Young, bit of a gamble but with plenty of upside. Assume they'd want silly money though.

But Trossard was nimble and could get around players quickly, and Yildiz isn't and doesn't. He's good at taking people on but he's no more a winger than Cesc was, or Ödegaard is. I could be wrong but I've seen a bit of him and I'm a big fan of this type of player. Everything about him screams that he's a central piece in an attacking system. The kind of 10 we used to call a second striker: Bergkamp, Del Piero, Totti, Raul, Dybala... that's how I envision him to end up. He's not a playmaker and not a winger. He's someone who'll knit together an attack by being positionally close to a classic number 9.

Kenan as i said already has no pace and no assurity of handling pl physicality - that's the biggest gamble for a 100m euro cost - hope we don't burn 100m on a slight chance

Wasting proven player money on a gamble and project is an utter waste

Not sure if we really need him but consensus is Josh Acheampong is hot stuff. We have been keen in the past and if there is a deal to be had i would not mind him for the RB spot.

Was thinking about this but I can't see the market changing dramatically in the next 12 months - that's why every club is sucking up any young talent.

yildiz has tons of injury problems.....he has chronic knee tendonitis
