No, we aren't near them in terms of stature (although we're not exactly minnows), and of course Real has its own appeal. But my point was, Vini has already been there for what, 8 years and has won the CL and La Liga, and he will end up being 'just another good player' for them but never the main star. He's always been overshadowed. At this point in time, we offer him a starring role, a chance to write his name in the history of Arsenal, a better team, a better run club, a better working environment, NO MOURINHO, more money, etc.
Like i said, i know its a pipe dream, but hey, you never know. I still only give it about a 30% chance of happening.
