Big Willie Champ those numbers look quite even, especially if you start to normalise that data. PSG averages 2x as many box touches and 25% more shots. Assuming these are per 90 stats, Martinelli looks better statistcally. We would need to look at specific things like Barcola's ability to get to byline, other video evidence etc., but that data is not a sure thing

Put Martinelli in that PSG attack where he’s the fourth option and allowed to simply run in behind off the wing and I think he’d put up similar numbers. I think Barcola is more talented but I think we would be equally frustrated with him and probably much more so once he has a 100m price tag around his neck all season.

It's always been tricky to upgrade Martinelli. Trossard's managed it but he has aged out. For what it's worth even Vinicius would be up against it in the Premier League. Imagine what Saka could do in Spain.

I love Martinelli and rate Vinicius much lower than many people seem to but...

I'm not saying Vinicius isn't the better footballer, but I am saying that if Saka had plied his trade for Madrid he might be even more famous and highly paid, and still have his ankles in good order. Most of the guys we've yearned for as upgrades on Gabi in the past have faltered meanwhile, especially the ones in England.

Burnwinter Love Saka but Vini is on another level man. Legit top three in the world along with Mbappe and Lamine Yamal. Already one of the best Champions League players ever, and La Liga isn't some softy league. The glamour South American attackers never want to leave Barca or Madrid, the chance to get one at age 26 is insane.

CPM Yeah! Totally agree Vinicius has traits even Saka let alone Martinelli will never have.

The PL these days has become a relative graveyard for electrifying wing play. The league tends to embarrass its star signings on the wings. So we're all mad keen to sign a superstar like Vinicius but the jury's out on Barcola.

daredevil City getting gutted is wild. Seeing Chelsea tank was seismic - Newcastle tanked before they could go stratospheric - City tanking would be incredible.

I think based on their current targets they are aiming to go into a transition period. Bouaddi may or may not turn out to be effective, but it is a big deal. Anderson himself still has plenty to prove, but that's what was said of Deckers.

Bit annoyed that it looks like we might miss out on a LW upgrade again this summer. Can't blame the club too much as there just aren't that many options out there, but regardless they could be doing better. Tzolis, and chasing a dead end in Vini is not good enough. We might be starting the season even weaker at LW than last season, and that was already the weakest position in our attack. Quite disappointing.

We officially hold interest in him and have signed off on the financials internally.

He has one year left on his contract.

Real refuse to improve the terms of his contract.

Real have said they will sell him if he doesn't sign.

There is a real chance of this happening.
