Qwiss Arteta has made an absolute mess of January. Focussing on the Mickey mouse cup and dead rubber CL games gets you this, and last week and the week before.
Don't think that has anything to do with it, we've been struggling offensively all season. We were woeful in attack in the opener against United, and then against Liverpool, and the trail weaves through the whole campaign. United had the quality and confidence to punish us today in a way that most teams usually lack.
I think if we're to win the title it'll be squeaking it at the death ala 89 or City with Aguero, because they (and I include the manager in this) aren't good enough to pull away. We've spent a lot on the attack this summer but haven't improved it much.
4 subs was dumb again. Does that ever work? Smacks of not having a clue how to adjust the game so just making throwing a load of shit at the wall and hoping something sticks.
