We're not the ones playing like dogshit on the pitch, we're just watching our team go through the same cycle over and over again for years. We have not had the mental strength when the going gets tough or when the stakes get higher (as a TEAM, not as a fanbase) to get over the line.
Will we do it this year? I don't know. We certainly have the players for it, but today should have literally been the easiest game of our season, and we just about bottled it. I mean, shit, even ManU Beat them easily (at Wolves).
Being sluggish is ok, as long as we are still picking up max points. But we havent been. We need to sort some shit out. I am hoping that the players are refreshed a little more for our next game. We've had too many shit league performances lately, we need a strong one.
