Not even on the subs bench. WTF happened to him? Lets hope Mosq/Hinc can get it done. Rest of the squad is as predicted. Lots of attacking options with Gyokeres, Jesus, Madueke and Odegaard all on the bench (and Ethan). Defensive subs look a little light, only MLS and Benny.

Sicario2 yeah, I think you're probably right. We need to get used to players being out if there's any degree of risk in playing them because their replacements (by and large) are decent.

Would ideally not have two relative unknowns (in Arsenal terms) partnering at CB but they're both good defenders.

They've never played as a partnership before and are going up against Chelsea's zippy dwarves. It's massive blow to keeping a clean sheet at least. Need more Timber and Calafiori heroics today.

i can't be worried if i look at chelsea's starting pair and say "i'd take mosquera and hincapie over them." if you think they can take advantage of our pair i don't see why we as the superior team can't take advantage of their pair.

Yes, they are. But we've seen them as a pair already once before in the CC v Brighton. The did not really have the same understanding with each other as they would have with one of the starters. Lets hope they've worked on that and keep it tighter. Chelsea are much better than Brighton in the CC. Regardless if they are very capable backups, they are still a slight dropoff from Saliba and Big Gab.

Gonna need a big game from everyone.

USArsenal I'm inclined to agree, just trying to be glass half full.

Like I said, I'd rather have at least one of Gabby or Saliba fit. But Hincapie and Mosquera both look good individually so far (small sample size), so very plausible they can do what's needed today.
