We didn't lose to them in all of Thierry's time with us so a decade seems about right. We just had a few draws with them at their ground though.

Amazing result. And script you couldn't write with the Arsenal fan who almost went to Spurs playing his first NLD and scoring a hattrick. Someone in the middle to just take the shot from those sort of positions are something we've been missing and exactly what we paid the money for. First hattrick in a NLD since Alan Sunderland in 1978 apparently.

Have to credit Zubimendi for putting it on a plate for Richarlison too. Don't worry Jamie, 5 goals from open play, the NLD is still well and truly alive for you. And you're "European Champions" anyway.

Spurs have nothing going for them in attack or defence so I didn't quite understand why people were worried about a potential slip-up. This was the bankiest of banker home wins we could have in 2025.

The next two league games, though, are going to be torture. If we get 4 points out of those two fixtures, we might as well begin organising the title parade.

Trossard clutch again, Rice + Zubimendi different class except for when Zubi lost the ball! Thought Hincapie stepped in very nicely today as well, like his aggression. Saka/Timber business as usual and good to see Noni back on the pitch for us.

Was definitely good to get a couple forward options back into the squad again. Noni was understandably rusty, but getting minutes under his belt was a good thing. We're gonna need him as the season wears on. It was a shame he got injured when he did, he was just starting to kick into gear a bit.
