Some nights it doesn't go your way. We outplayed them, big xG advantage, they scored two excellent/fortunate goals, it happens. The squad is thin right now, and that will hopefully be changing soon.

It's less about Nwaneri and more about not losing control. When we had an extra body in the middle, we were a counter-attacking threat. If not Nwaneri, then Norgaard would've been a perfectly acceptable sub. Arteta has a crippling fear of being in the lead and he makes the mistake of thinking having more defenders means more security.

The amount of points we've dropped from winning positions in the last 1.5 years is unbelievable.

Our performance was generally fine, but we dropped far too deep after we took the lead. Cost us three points. MLS or Nørgaard should have come on and stabilized our midfield.

Kel Varnsen I actually thought he was bringing Noorgard on which would've made more sense. We've done this a few times where we just invite the opposition to attack us non stop for 15 minutes. Eventually that catches up on you.

I don't think this is the end of the world at all. We were behind for a good while. You can't win every game, the invincibles sure as hell didn't. City and Liverpool will drop points and atleast one of them will do just that tomorrow.

Typical reffing performance when Arsenal are involved btw. My fav part today was the elbow to Merino being absolutely fine but the 'lesser' one on Zubimendi was a foul because they only matter if it's outside the box.

Qwiss was very surprised Norgaard didn’t come on. His experience and position would have been more suited to the occasion. Also MLS coming on with Calafiori tucking in would have given us a better out ball too. Not a horrendous decision but feels like Arteta was trying to repeat the Rob Holding special from a few years ago
