Qwiss Gotta try Harry I think, there's nothing to lose here. Merino is not a functional striker. We have to have more vertical threat and presence up front.

Nwaneri would be an option too as striker I think. I might go with Ethan actually. He's so strong on the ball that Sunderland would have to double down on him if nothing else, which will open up for Saka and Eze.

Mirth Agree, and it would be a fair point if there had been anyone else, but Nwaneri at least has ~ 4000 first team minutes under his belt. The other option has 65, and none of them are in Premier League.

I'd be fine with either of them, but we have to do something in the second half to avoid the horseshoe collapse. Sunderland can move up way too easily.
